PETITION to Stop more development to avoid more traffic    12 June, 2018

MORE HOUSES - MORE TRAFFIC

LESS COUNTRYSIDE

YOUR OPINION COUNTS ON OVER-DEVELOPMENT IN BARKHAM

Barkham is being targeted with over 1000 houses, one being a greenfield site, which alone could have 500-1000 houses at Barkham Square.

(adjoining Arborfield SDL - see map overleaf)

Barkham Parish Council believes that development on this scale, in a rural setting with narrow roads, is unsustainable. This will not only affect the immediate surroundings of Langley Common Rd, Barkham Rd, Barkham St, and School Rd, but will place intolerable pressure on all the surrounding roads and

neighbouring parishes.

This will lead to even more congested roads, loss of countryside, and another step towards engulfing our villages into an urban sprawl

We need your help to challenge and defeat these prospective developments.

By signing our petition we can secure a debate with
Wokingham Borough Council.

We need at least 1500 signatures*

no later than 31 JULY
